About Jackson

Andrew Jackson Elementary School, within Selma Unified School District, provides a student-centered instructional program which allows students to reach their highest potential as contributing members of society.

Jackson is located in Selma, California--the Raisin Capital of the World. It is located across from Selma High School, twelve miles south of Fresno. Jackson’s student population is diverse. Our student population represents TK through sixth grade students. Student sub groups at Jackson include English Learners (EL), Special Education (SPED), and Socio-economically Disadvantaged (SED) students. 

Jackson is a gold level PBIS school and has school-wide behavioral expectations for all students.
